Day 30 in Coronavirus lockdown….. who’d a thunk it, as my Gran would say!

The first thought in my mind was thank god I’m not on breakfast duties…. I think I’m extra tired just now and need to rest but with the nice weather I want to be up and bounding around. Woke up disappointed I’d missed the sunrise…. wanted to get some photos. No chance of me catching the sunrise these days I’m big zzzz’s at that time! So some from last nights sunset instead.

View over the Gateside Hall carpark… I went out in my jammies 🙄
Thankfully no sign of anyone. Seems the only traffic calming measures that Gateside needed was a lockdown
Not a soul
Dog walks with all 3 and Craig the shadow! Ready to go for the big run at Mid Bogside
Bit of gate climbing… so ladylike… NOT!
Calaidh and Freya waiting on me to climb the gate 🤣
Bhru found a bench on the disused gold course
Managed to get them all on the wee mini bridge at the same time, just… only another hundred photos taken and this one was the best!
Some views over the Garnock Valley
Wouldn’t be my blog without a wildlife close up!
Looking out over Lochwinnoch from the old golf course
Bigholm Hill
Looking down towards Beith
Spotted!
Oops the pups found their way onto the used bit…
My family ❤️
The church spire in Beith through the gorse
Gateside from the old golf course
It’s been so dry for weeks that all of the soak aways from the fields are bone dry. Bhru managed to find this water which is a burst pipe hole that needs fixing!
Am I really that wee????!!!
Memorial Hall Gateside in the sun. It’s been closed for weeks now due to the ban on gatherings of more than 2 people
Socially distanced roofing. The roofers are finishing off today but showing Craig what’s been done and also sadly, the work that is still recommended to be done 😱
Spotted Claire in the garden at lunchtime so had a wee up the ladder socially distanced chat! she is working from home just now
Wee baby Freya chilling under the tree after her big walk

So I’m only at 11am 🤣🤣🤣 only joking. Today’s plan was to get the tent back up in the roof of the Jeep as Craig’s not driving just now so no real effect on miles to the gallon /and it’s taking up room in the house. So…. I draw your attention back to the height of me…. and yes I’m number one helper to get the tent on the Jeep 🤔🤐

So eventually manage to get up on the roof and that’s no mean feat the size I’ve become since I’ve been off sick 🥴 I may never get back down. We scream at each other for a bit but the tent is up and in position… now for the “fun” part 🤷🏻‍♀️😳😬 there was some sneaky footage taken of the dismount but it was neither graceful nor elegant!
The pups under the tree posing

So I’ve been attending Kinesiology since I went off sick first in September 2018 which is a natural healing for emotional health. The less open minded of us may suggest it’s to do with magic beans but the belief is there is huge potential for the body to heal itself. Shelagh has been able to take this online during the lockdown and we work on the stresses and strains that you are feeling at the time. I told Shelagh I was exhausted all the time and had no energy to do anything but was always stressing at the NEED to do things, while its sunny, while it’s early…. etc. She tested my energy levels and found of the various different energies that one was a low as 2%. She is able to work on this online (I have no idea how) and half way through the session I felt a huge weight had lifted and retesting at the end showed all of my energy levels were lifted considerably. I feel so much better. It’s the hardest thing in the world to explain but my god it really works. So Craigie has his happy smiley wife back 🤔

By the time I come back out, Craig has chopped a tree down, hung a hammock and I just gotta try it out!!

Th is could be my new favourite place minus Bhru obvs 😳🤣
The back of the garden still needs work done. Gonna have a wee wild flower garden, a veg, flower patch and another wee bit of decking I think
Almost turning pink now…. the colour doesn’t last long!

Another 763 deaths from covid-19 in the last 24 hours and the Government say we are not at the peak. The lockdown has allowed the new cases to flatten and the deaths as are flattening too but we are over 18,000 people now which still doesn’t include the care homes… 😢
