Day 33 and the weather’s even beautifuller 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤣☀️☀️AND it was man hairdo time!

It was cold and cloudy this morning and we were thinking that was summer over but the cloud burned off about 9.30. Craig was up early and off to B&M stores for more soil for our onion planter. He said there were about 20 folk in front of him when he got there and about 40 in it when he left. The good think about man shopping is

1. Queue

2. Go in shop and head to soil

3. Pick up soil

4. Got to till and pay for soil

5. Back to car

Now…. if that had been me I would have sauntered up and down every aisle and come out with a fortune of stuff that we didn’t actually need but thought would be quite nice just to have!!

The pups can’t wait to get in and dig…. 🤣

For those if you following this regularly you might realise that there’s precious little housework getting done so I cleaned the kitchen and loaded the dishwasher while he was out. Gotta start somewhere!! Forgot to mention that before the trip to B&M the rod top tent needed to come off the roof of the car

The pups know we’ll come back in arguing 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 we didn’t this time but I am vowing never ever to deal with RTT Mount again…. ever… ok…. you heard it here…

So after the planter filling he’s up on the roof to start fitting the new RTT mounting kit that we bought this week. I make my escape. Walk time with Calaidh!!

Coming back to get me!!! Sure I mentioned before but these trees are in so many of my photos. They are a memory of my mental health journey as I have passed them in all weathers on the drive to counselling. One day I should put all the photos together…. you so know I’m gonna do that now?!?!

There’s an Airbnb beside the farm and the garden is in full bloom just now while the house lies empty as everyone had to stay at home due to the virus. You can just make out Gateside in the distance

Nikki and William’s tulips are amazing now.

A neighbour offers to help Craig lift the RTT into its new fixings and they have it up and attached to the roof in less than 20 seconds, this guy is my new hero as he’s saved me for more tent lifting!! The guys managed to stay socially distanced across the tent and the car. I am now sun worshipping!!!

Another 813 hospital deaths yesterday taking the total to 20,319. Think there’s been a fair amount of folk out in the sun today which has meant they are reminding everyone to stay home. We’re so lucky having the garden and the countryside for our walks. It’s been so lovely today I think I’m pretty burnt. I’ve read a book which Claire gave me.
