Day 26 painting the fascia at the back of the house and sunbathing ☀️

Another beautiful day, damn cold in the wind but roasting when you’re walking and painting!! Cup of coffee then out in the sun with Calaidh and Freya while Craig walked Bhru. He’s spending some one on one time with her to take her out of the pack for a bit.

She stopped again for another photo!!!

Came home and got the painting gear on and painted the fascia boards at the back of the house a dark grey to go with the new walls. Kindly borrowed from our neighbours who just painted their wood shed with it and it’s the exact shade we needed! Well ok as Craig said we’re not borrowing it unless we give them it back when it flakes off…. as if my painting would ever flake off???!!!! 😱

Don’t know if you can the difference from these photos? Was dark blue but now dark grey!
Bathroom windowsill done.
Fascia boards from brown to grey and the rose is back up!

Had a lovely cuppa with Claire up the ladder and over the fence again, then sat out to enjoy the sun.

Craig sharpened his axes so I was very nice to him and got him drinks….. 🤭😬😳🤣
FaceTime call with the McGavins was great to catch up
Having an alcohol free Brewdog Nanny State. Reminds me I met an neighbour out with the dogs this morning and when I told her I was going home to start painting she said she was going to pop open a bottle of fizz. Told her I’d given up drink in Jan 2019 to which she replied “oh how dreadfully dull….” wow ok… each to their own… 😝
A lazy afternoon in the sun ☀️
Calaidh posing… no balls were used in the taking of this photo 🙄😬
Ladylike Freya!

There’s been another 888 deaths taking the UK total over £15,000 and the government are being urged to start counting in the care home deaths too. There’s a lot of posts on FB complaining that deaths are being recorded against Covid-19 when actually it was cancer that killed their loved one. They’ve been told it has to register as coronavirus if they’re not sure if the patient had it or not. sure there’ll be more about that in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile in other news Calaidh was sneaking behind me waiting on the ball…. again…

Story of her life… come and rescue us Gran and Grampa…. you guys throw the ball ALL the time!
7.20pm and the sun is just about to go down behind the pub fence. Been sitting outside listening to music. A lovely wee time!
Someone’s fed up

In showered…. and after sunned… it’s like being on holiday!! And us fatties are gonna order a takeaway… right, tomorrow, steps, healthy food, need to screw the nut and get back on it. Got my digital scales today from the RH Fitness group that I joined so no excuses…. except maybe breaking the scales 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄

We’ve been lucky to have most of this today…. except the dancing…. 🤔
This is so very true and I would change my lockdown family for anything. Maybe rent out a dog or two to anyone who needs one?! 😆
I do 💜

Outside of house looking amazing. Love all the pics. Is that the dog’s beds you sitting on Craig? Loving the sunshine but still working in our house while Doug does the garden.
